Kathy is our incredibly hard-working office manager. She knows a little (or A LOT!) about everything to do with our office. Like Dr. Bahr, you won't catch her sitting idly. She is always helping a patient, a staff member, or the office as a whole. Kathy grew up in Bountiful, UT. She is Dr. Bahr’s sister and the third of 15 children. Kathy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from BYU with a minor in History. She served a Spanish-speaking mission to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She worked as a pediatric/newborn RN for five years prior to working in dermatology. Kathy is married with six children. She likes to sing, play the piano, spend time with her family, camp, garden, bake and read. Kathy has been in dermatology for seven years and is very excited to serve those who come to Bahr Dermatology.
"Liza" enjoys being able to do a wide variety of tasks around the office. She helps at the front desk, works as a medical assistant when needed, and is now an office administrator. She does so much to help our patients...and our staff! We are lucky to have her. Liza graduated with her bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University Idaho in December 2022 and is enrolled for a master's program that starts fall 2022.
Sydnie joined our team of medical assistants a year ago. She is kind, courteous, and eager to help. Sydnie works alongside Dr. Bahr and helps manage his team of medical assistants. She also works as a master esthetician in our cosmetic department. Sydnie is licensed as a Master Esthetician and just finished her bachelor’s degree in Epidemiology at Brigham Young University Idaho. When she was little, Sydnie’s mom had Melanoma skin cancer. Since then, Sydnie has been interested in and diligent in teaching good skin care, protecting her skin, getting regular skin checks and helping those who are also going through similar experiences!
Heather is part of our amazing team of medical assistants. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help with any task. Heather just recently took the MCAT and is hoping to go to medical school soon! She wants to focus on Emergency Medicine with an emphasis on global, rural, and wilderness medicine. Heather graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Minors in Chemistry and Japanese from Weber State University.
Jon is one of our newer medical assistants to join our team. He is a very bright, quick learner. Jon has been interested in health care for as long as he can remember. He took his first medical related course his freshman year in high school and since then medicine is the only thing he sees himself doing. Jon graduated from Weber State University and hopes to attend medical school in the next year or two with a focus in Pediatrics. Jon has a Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology and Microbiology, an Associate of Applied Sciences as a Chemical Technician, and is a certified medical assistant and phlebotomist!
Blake has been a part of our amazing team of medical assistants for a little over a year. He is a smart cookie and a kind soul. Blake graduated from the University of Utah with Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Biology. He just took the MCAT and is applying to medical school. He hopes to become a pathologist in the future.
